Darren's home Studio

Darren's home studio is located on Cissbury Road in Brighton, a few roads down from Bhasvic College. There is ample parking day or night, plenty of Bus Routes and only a 10 minute walk from Brighton Station.

The studio is fully equipped with Marshall amps, Fender amps, a range of guitars including electric, acoustic and a 3/4 size classical guitar. Darren has a full recording set up which allows him to send each student customised backing tracks, audio files, drum loops and anything else that will help with your progress. His home studio is easy to find and a very relaxing,yet professional place to teach from.

Guitar Lessons based in 7 Dials, Brighton

Darren has been playing guitar for 13 years, and teaching for 7 of those. Darren is an extremely competent tutor, teaching all ages and ability levels. He is as comfortable walking you through your first chords as he is going through the modes of the melodic minor scale! A fantastic addition to the BGA team. He is extremely popular with students of all ages, teaching kids as young as 6 years old, all the way up to 65 year old guys and girls looking to take up a new hobby, or reignite an old passion!

He has extensive live and studio experience. As a session player he has played on The Sunday Independents' Triumph through adversity' DVD series as well as DVD'S for SAAB. Darren's work as lead guitarist in Brighton based band The Perils has taken him all over the country and given him the privilege of supporting acts such as Mick Jones (The Clash) The Buzzcocks, The Blockheads, The Fall, Gary Moore and Cage the Elephant. Darren has extensive teaching experience and specialises in Blues, Rock, Pop, Acoustic and funk.
