Matt's home Studio
Matt's home studio is located on Coombe Road in Brighton, which is near the Lewes road area. There is free parking available day or night, plenty of Bus Routes and only a 15 minute walk from Moulscoombe Station.
The studio is fully equipped with Marshall bass amps, a range of guitars including electric. Matt has a great set up with a fully sound proof studio allowing you to crank up the volume when necessary! He is set up with audio files, backing tracks, work sheets and everything and anything you will need to progres on the bass guitar .

Matt has been a professional Bass guitarist since 1998, and highlights of his career include playing at Glastonbury, playing with Pete Bennett (big brother winner) on a UK and Ireland tour, as well as currently playing in the UK's most sought after party band - Anthem. As a live player, his experience is vast, and having played venues such as the Birmingham NEC, The Concorde 2 and of course Glastonbury, his live playing has been a huge part of his musical career thus far!
Matt's qualifications as a tutor and musician stem from his BA Hons in professional musicianship. From there he has gone on to teach privately whilst continuing to play in origional and cover projects based up and down the country. As a tutor Matt is patient, friendly and approachable. He is just as happy to guide you through your first bass riff as he is teaching the more advanced players how to groove! An extremely well rounded bass player, Matt plays all styles of music, with particualr specialsim in rock, funk and hip-hop.
